Rocky is a brave boy and a true survivor. He’s a distemper survivor who, unfortunately, was also hit by a train. The accident left him with a serious injury on the side of his chest and a damaged tail, both of which required stitches.
Sadly, the place where he was initially housed wasn’t very clean — he was kept tied to the floor and was often left standing and sitting in his own pee. It was a very difficult time for him, both physically and emotionally.
That’s when his kind rescuer, Divya, brought him to us — for both his physical recovery and much-needed mental healing. When Rocky first arrived, he was extremely thin, withdrawn, and clearly traumatized by all that he had been through.
But touch wood, things have turned around beautifully for him. He’s been healing well, has started playing again, and now eagerly interacts with people. He follows food with enthusiasm, loves his play sessions, and has developed a special fondness for lady dogs!
Today, Rocky is a happy, bright, and lively boy who’s made incredible progress. He’s almost ready to be released, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. We wish for many more such happy recoveries like his.
