Parle-G came to us after the Yamuna floods, with help from another foundation that was struggling to manage the number of rescues at the time. When he arrived at Paws & Pause, it was clear that this sweet boy had been through a lot. He had a painful ear hematoma that hadn’t been treated properly — his ear had been cut open, and pus was being drained every now and then, but nothing was actually healing.
By the time Parle-G reached us, his ear was badly swollen, infected, and full of pus. He was uncomfortable and withdrawn, barely eating for the first few days. We ran his blood work and scheduled the proper hematoma surgery he needed — one that would finally give him the relief he deserved.
After the surgery, Parle-G had multiple stitches along his ear, but what stood out most wasn’t the sutures — it was his spirit. Almost immediately, we could see the change in him. He started cuddling up to us, seeking affection, wagging his tail, and soaking up all the love he could get. Slowly, he began to play again — making friends, picking favorites, and even forming his own little gang (with a few friendly rivals, of course!).
Today, Parle-G is doing wonderfully well. His sutures will be coming out soon, and he’ll be ready for release — stronger, happier, and full of life.
And yes, Parle-G is a proud tripod baby — but he never lets that slow him down. He runs, plays, jumps, and loves with all his heart. For anyone who thinks that a tripod dog can’t do everything, Parle-G is here to prove them wrong, one joyful step at a time.
